Interior painting in Gothenburg

Interior painting that gives the room new life

Repainting is one of the most effective ways to freshen up a home – or prepare it for sale. But the result is determined by the work done before the first brushstroke: filling holes and cracks, sanding, washing the surfaces and careful masking. That is where professionals differ from simply putting opaque paint over a poor surface.

We paint walls and ceilings in every type of room, and complement this with joinery, window frames, doors, stairs and skirting. We help you choose paint, colour and gloss level – and have experience of both light, neutral rooms and bolder colour choices. Furniture and floors are covered, and we clean up afterwards.

You receive a written fixed price based on the surfaces and condition of the rooms, and the labour cost is normally eligible for the ROT deduction – we deduct it directly on the invoice.

Common occasions

When is interior painting the right investment?

We paint indoors in many different situations. Common assignments are:

  • Repainting worn, discoloured or stained walls and ceilings
  • Before a sale – fresh new surfaces make the home more attractive
  • After renovation, extension or running of cables
  • Moisture or water damage that has been remediated and needs painting
  • Painting of joinery, doors, windows, skirting and stairs
  • A new colour scheme – from white to bold – or wallpapering

Do you have larger renovation plans? We can take care of the whole project – see general renovation.

Cleaned up and finished

When we are done we clean up, remove the masking and leave the rooms ready to use.

How it works

How interior painting works

  1. 1

    Inspection and colour advice

We look at the rooms, measure the surfaces, assess the condition and discuss paint, colour and schedule.

  2. 2

    Fixed-price quote

Within 24 hours you receive a written fixed price, with itemised surfaces, preparation and paint system.

  3. 3

    Protection and masking

Furniture is moved or covered, floors are protected and skirting, windows and switches are carefully masked.

  4. 4

    Filling and sanding

Holes, cracks and unevenness are filled and sanded. The surfaces are washed and primed where needed.

  5. 5

    Painting

Ceilings and walls are painted in two coats with roller and brush, and the joinery and details receive their finish.

  6. 6

    Cleaning and final check

Masking is removed, the rooms are cleaned and we go through the result together with you.

Price & ROT deduction

How much does interior painting cost?

The price of interior painting depends on the surfaces of the rooms, their condition and how much preparation is needed. That is why we do not give flat-rate prices – we look at the surfaces and give you a written fixed price after the inspection, so that you know exactly what you are paying.

What affects the price

  • Number of rooms and the size of the wall and ceiling surfaces
  • Condition of the surfaces – need for filling, sanding and washing
  • Ceiling height, stairs and hard-to-reach surfaces
  • Painting of joinery, doors, window frames and skirting
  • Choice of paint system, number of coats and any wallpapering

Fixed price after inspection

Every project is different, which is why we always give a written fixed price after a free inspection – no hourly charging and no surprises.

See also our price guide for guide prices on other services.

ROT deduction

The labour cost for interior painting of a home is normally eligible for the ROT deduction: a 30 % tax reduction on the labour (max. 50,000 kr per person per year). We deduct it directly on the invoice and apply to the Swedish Tax Agency.
